Sorry guys but quality of my food was really poor. Chips looked as though they had been sitting there for hours, all dry and shrivelled, so couldn't eat those. I had a kebab burger and lamb all dried up no fresh pieces at all. Roe was nice but ssf chicken was dry and I nearly checked cos it was so dry. Anyway, that's 2 orders now I found very poor so sorry but won't be ordering from George & Helen's again. Shame because this chippy was once one of the best around here but not any more!!

I usually rate the food at George and Helen's but on this occasion our food just didn't taste right. We had mixed meat in a tray and a Mediterranean chicken in a tray. Sauce was missed off of the first one, and both meals just didn't taste right. We couldn't figure out what exactly it was, we just knew it wasn't the same as we're used to eating. A taste like something had gone off, not nice. Didn't finish the meat as it was making us feel sick. Luckily we ordered chips and extra sausage but still disappointed I feel like our money was wasted this time.

Long Wait, Driver got lost food went cold not the shops fault and appreciate the replacement sent swiftly. Didn’t appreciate original tone of phone call as i understand that it may be stressful at busy times for food to be coming back but appreciate resolving the issue. Regards the hair issue in a previous order there was a short black hair found my mum has long hair and i was in germany so did not appreciate your inference that it was our fault. But all is forgiven thanks to the tasty food
